The Lake Hotel in Polonnaruwa is situated right by the side of the ancient and huge Parakarama reservoir close to the heart of Polonnaruwa (the second capital city of Sri Lanka).

40 deluxe rooms at Lake Hotel Polonnaruwa
Having recently undergone a complete and extensive renovation, the Lake Hotel Polonnaruwa now boasts 40 air conditioned deluxe rooms with all the modern amenities you would expect from a medium standard hotel.
The 40 rooms are split between two floors, with 18 rooms on the ground floor which open up on the pleasant front lawn, while the remaining 18 first floor rooms enjoy great views over the lake that borders the hotel.
The modern deluxe rooms provide plenty in the way of modern facilities, including shower, TV, hair dryer, air conditioning, tea and coffee maker, room service, telephone and water bottles.
The traditional Sri Lankan buffet in the restaurant includes freshly caught fish from the neighbouring fishing villages, providing an authentic experience while helping the local economy.
