This one of the few virgin Rainforests in the Words and has been declared as a Unesco Word Heritage Site.
Ella Rock- This is an amazing climb close to the well-known Nine-Arch Bridge in Ella.
You walk along the Train Track before starting the Hike. Once you get to the top through the Forests and little Villages, you get to see the 180 Degree view of Ella.
Biking – The isolated back roads of SriLanka with stunning Scenery have attracted the
Bikers who sometimes, ride from one end to the other end of the Country. They Cycle through the little Villages and Rice Paddy fields, stop at little local Shops for a Coconut or some local specialities.

They include routine vaccines such as Japanese encephalitis, Polio, Measles,Mumps and Rubella(MMR), chickenpox, flu shot, Shingles and TDAP.
These routine vaccines are not applicable for People who travel on Holiday to SriLanka. The Vaccines that the Holiday makers are requested to get are Hepatitis A,Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Yellow fever and Rabies.
Though all these vaccines are recommended by the WHO and CDC,some Vaccines are more important than the others. Hepatitis A and Typhoid are caused from consuming, contaminated food and water. Therefore these two Vaccines should not be missed. Though Polio too, spreads from Food and Water, Sri Lanka has managed to eradicate this Disease. Hence, the Vaccine for Polio holds low Significance. Rabies can be caused by stray Dogs, Monkeys, Squirrels, Cats, Bats and other mammals in Sri Lanka. Anti-Rabies Vaccine is an absolute necessity as you never know where the Stray Dogs & the Monkeys would be, as there are so many of them.
Hepatitis B is mainly infected by sexual contact, contaminated needles, and blood. You can get Vaccines against some diseases that are transmitted by mosquitoes such as Yellow fever and Japanese encephalitis. Unfortunately there is no Vaccine for Dengue Fever and Vaccine for Malaria is not necessary as it does not exist in SriLanka. We recommend you to have these Vaccines, as there are Mosquitoes everywhere Measles, Mumps and Rubella are caused by viruses that spread from coughing and sneezing. . Unfortunately the Measles virus could live up to two hours in the Air. Vaccinations against these Diseases are highly recommended.
Chickenpox is an airborne disease which spreads by coughing, sneezing and Physical contact with body fluids of infected people. This Vaccine too is recommended. The flu vaccine prevents infections such as Influenza. TDAP Vaccine is against Tetanus and Diphtheria. Tetanus vaccine is highly Recommended ,as a cut or a Scratch on the skin could infect you.
