Forest Rock Garden Resort, Anuradhapura
This beautiful new boutique hotel is located about 20mins equidistant from Anuradhapura in the east and Wilpattu National Park to the west, in a 50 acre site with wilderness all around. The accommodation really does have a feel of the ancient of Anuradhapura, using similar architecture styles in the ornate pillars, statues, ponds and waterways. The hotel is actually built 20ft off the ground, with meandering walkways between to stop any impact on the jungle below, and so the wildlife can continue to use the jungle below unhindered. The hotel only serves vegetarian food.
