Cinnamon Wild, Yala
This hotel is situated in the wilderness zone right next door to Yala National Park. It does have a feel of being right in the Park, to the extent that animals do wander through the grounds- boar, monkeys and even the odd elephant. Having been totally refurbished recently, it does now have the feel of a world class game lodge. The main restaurant is located above reception and has the most fantastic 360° views over the nearby jungle.
Chena Huts, Yala
This brand new hotel (opened early 2016) is situated in the wilderness zone close to the entrance of Yala National Park. It comprises luxurious private detached cabins that have views of the surrounding wilderness, lake or seascape. The hotel is offered on an All Inclusive basis which also includes daily morning and evening game drives. This hotel is part of the renowned Uga Escapes Group.
The Sanctuary, Tissawewa, Anuradhapura
This historic colonial hotel built originally around 1865 was a former Governors House. The hotel was formerly known as Tissa Wewa Resthouse. It still retains that colonial British charm with highly polished wooden floors, high ceilings but with modern amenities such as updated bathrooms, TVs and AC. The rooms on the first floor are more private with a beautiful verandah overlooking the fabulous gardens which extend to 14 acres. Please note the hotel does not have a liquor license as it is within the bounds of the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

This modern hotel in Anuradhapura offers affordable accommodation from which to visit the ancient Sri Lankan city and the neighbouring Willpattu Wildlife Park.
